Respect At Work

On Friday, October 14, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Cory Boyd joins Humber for a talk entitled Respect At Work, focusing on subjects that include: 

  • Workplace investigations 

  • Workplace restorations 

  • Bullying and harassment 

  • Human rights developments 

  • The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act 

As part of Humber's Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion Dialogue 2022-23 series, Humber Libraries is highlighting additional resources related to the dialogues.

About the Speaker: 

Cory Boyd is a Partner and Practice Lead at Rubin Thomlinson. Cory applies his analytical skills to conducting workplace and institutional investigations. In addition, Cory assists employers in developing systems to ensure compliance with legal and ethical obligations, creating effective workplace policies and procedures, and delivering training to staff at all levels on their roles within the process. He also works with clients prior to, or following, a complaint in order to identify individual and systemic issues within the organization and to create a plan to restore the workplace and allow employees to move forward.
