Humber College Funding

Humber faculty who are working on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) projects can apply for funding through the Office of Research and Innovation.

SEED Research & Innovation Fund

“Discovery-oriented”
Ideal for Emerging Researchers.
Funding amount: $1,500, up to $4,500

CULTIVATE Research & Innovation Fund

“Design-oriented”
Possibility of investigating with external partners.
Funding amount: $5,000, up to $15,000

Tri-Agency Funding

NSERC
The College and Community Innovation program is tri-agency funding that provides innovative solutions for local and regional challenges faced by businesses, government and communities, through the expertise of Canadian colleges, CEGEPs and polytechnics.
SSHRC
SSHRC supports postsecondary-based research, research training and knowledge mobilization activities in the social sciences and humanities.
CIHR
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) supports excellence across all four pillars of health research: biomedical; clinical; health systems services; and population health.

CFI
The Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) is a non-profit corporation that invests in research infrastructure at Canadian universities, colleges, research hospitals and non-profit research institutions.
