To accommodate the Humber Cultural Hub construction taking place at the Lakeshore campus, the Lakeshore Library is currently closed. The health and safety of students and staff, as well as the student experience given the noise expected, were key considerations when deciding how to accommodate the necessary construction.
During this closure, library services at the Lakeshore Campus will be available as follows:
Research Help: The Lakeshore Library team will be available for in-person research help at the Lakeshore Learning Commons Help Desk (located in L1000) between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Virtual research help will be available as usual via chat/text, email, and by appointment.
Learning Resources: Many required print textbooks for courses running this Fall will be available. Book pickup will be available in the Lakeshore Learning Commons. The library’s extensive virtual collections remain available 24/7 via our website.
Lakeshore Study Spaces: The Lakeshore Learning Commons remains open for study with access to computers and printers and bookable study rooms. B114 in Building B is also available as a study space, with computers, a printer and study carrels.
Faculty are encouraged to contact their Liaison Librarian with any questions related to library instruction, resources, and support services.
Other library services and spaces remain unaffected. Questions? Please email us at library@humber.ca
