Welcome to all new Humber and University of Guelph-Humber students!

For orientation, the library has virtual self-guided tours and workshops to help you prepare for your courses:

1. Introducing our online library tour:  A self-guided online orientation featuring videos and short activities, students will explore the library website, learn about library supports and services, search Discover and more. This tour takes no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.

2. Prefer a hands-on workshop where you can have your questions answered? Join us for our Ready Set Research Workshops, interactive online presentations hosted by the library and held on Microsoft Teams:

  • September 7th at 2:00pm
  • September 13th at 10:00am

Attend these two virtual workshops by visiting Humber's Orientation and Events Calendar for the event links.

3. Are you an International Student? The library is also hosting online workshops through the International Centre for new students. Dates and times are listed below. Please contact the International Centre for more information on how to attend these workshops.

  • August 27th at 11:00am
  • September 1st at 10:30am
  • September 9th at 9:00am

4. Learn more about our online collections, services and how to get research support by visiting: How to Use the Library Online.

Good luck with the new semester everyone!
